The trek, which is in its sixth year, raises vital funds for the charity’s 60 support groups to help sufferers of chest, heart and stroke illnesses, which kill 20 people a day in Northern Ireland.
This year the trek, which was supported by Flahavan’s, saw over 400 walkers receive a bowl of porridge to put an extra spring in their step before they set off on the 11 mile route, as well as a goody bag for each person at the finish line.
