Stewartstown
THE minor played their two semi finals in the past week hoping to continue the good underage performances that the club has enjoyed in the past few weeks.
First up, the lads played Pomeroy in the Championship semi final last Wednesday night in Galbally.
Hide AdAdvertisement
Hide AdPlayed in very testing conditions it was Pomeroy who looked like they would progress to the final as with 5 minutes to go they led by 4.
However, this was when the Harps played their best football of the contest scoring 1-3 without reply to win by 2 points.
Final score was Harps 2-9, Pomeroy 0-13. The goal scorers were Cathal Devlin and Dan Lowe.
Then on Sunday the lads headed to Dungannon to play the league semi final versus Eglish in what was a preview of the Championship final pairing.

Hide AdAdvertisement
Hide AdThis again was a very tight affair but the Harps always held the lead and won in the end on a score line of 0-12 to 1-4.
This means the lads have now two finals to look forward to in the coming weeks.
Details have not been released at the time of going to press but information will be given from management at training.
Thanks to the large Harps following who supported the team during both of their semi finals and let’s hope to see an even bigger Harps contingent at the finals.
