I run my business from an office at home but am out and about visiting clients most days.

The concept of The Business Mindset Set was born back in 2011. The business began running in a part time capacity, until August 2013 when it became a full-time concern.

My Role is to work for the Wealth (betterment) of the people and companies I work for and to help them and their business to grow. As a business mentor, my job is to help individuals and business owners achieve more and push themselves outside their comfort zone. Many want support in helping them analyse issues within their business, explore how to drive more sales and how to develop themselves.

My support can be through individual mentoring or delivering group workshops on business growth (known as Mastermind Group), presentation skills, sales and referral skills.

My role with the Lisburn branch of BNI sees me chairing weekly meetings at the Lighters Restaurant at Lisburn Civic Centre at 7am. BNI Members meet weekly with the prime intention of passing each other opportunities for new business through ‘word of mouth referrals’. This is the most cost-effective form of advertising possible. Being a member of Business Network International (BNI) is like having sales people working for you every day who market your product or services.

The meeting lasts one hour and a half and for the first 15 minutes members and guest network. Members are then given the opportunity to give a presentation on their business during the business workshop - My job is to run the meeting and keep it flowing.

In the BNI Lisburn Chapter of BNI, members are already referring hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of business. BNI Members commit to a strict code of ethics and a high standard of quality is both expected and monitored through the BNI system.

I really enjoy working for myself and being involved with BNI as I get a lot of job satisfaction seeing other businesses thrive.
