A Happy Medium at the Grand Opera House

FOLLOWING a sell-out tour across the province last year, May McFettridge will once again head the cast of the hilarious comedy A Happy Medium, which takes to the road this September on a tour of selected venues.

A Happy Medium tells the story of the known and unknown by a woman who knew nothing in the first place!

Lizzie (May McFettridge) is on a mission to bring her sister back from the dead through the mediumship of Mr Proudfoot, played by Paddy Jenkins. The reason for her mission is because she made a promise to her sister Isa that whoever died first would try to contact the other through spiritualism… the results are unexpectedly shocking and at the same time hilarious! Joining May and Paddy in the cast will be Olivia Nash, Antoinette Moreilli and Sarah Lyle.

This year May McFettridge will come of age again when she celebrates her 21st record-breaking pantomime at Belfast's Grand Opera House in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. May McFettridge has enjoyed other sell-out performances at the theatre, including her hugely-popular An Audience with May McFettridge shows and last year's May's Panto Party, recorded by BBC Northern Ireland, quickly became one of the most watched local programmes of 2009!

A Happy Medium has toured Scotland and England to critical acclaim and true to form, May McFettridge and the cast will have you crying tears of laughter! If you want to know what May is up to between now and the tour of A Happy Medium she has gone all technical and has her very own Facebook page! Check her out at www.facebook.com/maymcfettridge

A Happy Medium will play at the Grand Opera House on September 11. To book tickets, telephone the Box Office on 9024 1919.
