"A line up of talent not to be missed

Following on from last year's successful event, the members of Dunloy Accordion Band are very pleased to present an evening of music featuring some of the finest bands the province has to offer.

The event takes place on Friday 28th January at 8pm in The Braid Arts Centre, Bridge Street, Ballymena.

The evening will get under way with the opening performance from the hosts.

Following on, and certainly no strangers to the local area of Ballymena, Ballykeel Loyal sons of Ulster will serve up a mix of traditional 'Blood and Thunder' style of music. The band has become known as one of the pioneers of variation in the 'Blood and Thunder' category of marching bands and has a huge support throughout Ulster, Scotland and further afield.

Third on the stage is Newtownards Melody Flute Band. This band is one of Northern Ireland's top melody flute bands and will provide an extensive array of top melody marches. This band are widely recognised as a disciplined and talented unit very much to the forefront of the Flute Band musical experience.

Lastly but by no means least, Carrick with Ashgrove Brass will provide a wonderful experience of top quality brass band music.

Founded back in 1979, they have won numerous contests including the NIBA and Brass Band League contests and various other entertainment contests throughout Northern Ireland and Scotland.
