A mixture of comedy and country with Farmer Dan

The County Down man is looking forward to appearing at the popular music venue in the heart of Coleraine, where he will be bringing his brand of Comedy and Country Music to entertain the crowd.

Farmer Dan has been travelling around the UK and beyond with his super band.

They recently released a brand new live and uncut DVD which will give you an insight of what’s in store in Coleraine.

Farmer Dan will be joined in the Riverside theatre by two very good friends.

Joining him on stage will be comedian ‘Big O’ who is sure to have you rolling in the aisles with laughter.

His second guest will be ‘Boxcar Brian’, who is no stranger to the airwaves or to the theatre stage.

This Saturday will be the official launch of Farmer Dan’s new CD.

It includes all the big hits of the past 12 months such as ‘Where did you meet her, I met her at the Galtymore,’ ‘Hit the DIFF’, ‘Tommy K the DJ’ plus many more.

Looking ahead to next month, the University of Ulster venue will be hosting a fashion show.

The date for your diary is Wednesday, June 3, and you will be given a complemtary glass of bubbly if you arrive before 7.45!

Compered by Brian Moore, the fashion show will give those present a sneaky peak at the summer trends.

The Theatre will be welcoming local models who will be gliding up and down the catwalk in an array of stunning outfits for every occasion to celebrate the end of spring and the coming of summer.

This year’s event is compered, for the first time in Riverside, by the irrepressible local DJ, Brian Moore.

Last year’s event sold out quickly so reserve your seats as soon as possible. Tickets are £10 and they are on sale now.

Also in June the Theatre welcomes the Victoria Lagan Dance and Drama summer showcase. The showcase will take place over two nights, Friday and Saturday, June 19 and 20 featuring contemporary dance, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, acrobatics, classical singing and musical theatre numbers.
