Only in his early twenties Al is quickly building a reputation as one of the country’s most uproarious and flamboyant talents with his flirty and conversational ways mixed with his enthusiasm for performing and his affection for each audience.

This year alone Al has popped up on RTÉ’s coverage of Electric Picnic, Next Week’s News, The Savage Eye, and Callan’s Kicks. Al is a television regular on RTÉ’s Republic of Telly and is heard weekdays on RTÉ 2fm with Colm Hayes.

But it’s live on stage that he truly shines and he is about to take the limelight once again, ready to capture the rapturous attention of the nation.

Blending effortless charm with a sharp wit, the twenty-three-year-old owns every stage on which he sets foot, knowing exactly how to make his audiences laugh themselves into submission.

Despite his ever-growing popularity with his weekday slots with Colm Hayes on RTÉ 2fm and performances at the Sky Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, Al is not content with resting on his laurels.

By adding exciting new elements to his already-stellar comedy routine, ‘Al Porter Is Yours’ promises a night of uproarious entertainment with stand up, sketch and song.
