Alexanders May gig bonanza

In conjunction with Great Ulster Pub Week, Alexanders present AC?DC on Saturday May 3.

They have been together for twenty years and play Alexanders every year.

Come along and hear everyone’s favourite Thunderstruck plus tracks from all their albums.

The band are looking forward to the gig and seeing some old faces and new ones. Don’t be disappointed get your ticket at bar or chance paying at the door on the night.

This gig starts a fantastic month of Live Music.

Saturday May 10 sees the return of The Illeagles for their annual gig.

With an extraordinary blend of vocal harmony and genuine musicanship, they deliver all the songs you all know.

The band features Niamh Kavanagh, one of the best female vocalist’s Ireland has ever produced.

The Pat McManus Band are a powerful three peice rock/blues trio, headed by former Mamas Boys / Celtus guitarist Pat McManus.

The band will preform tracks from past albums but will also feature Mamas Boys material.

They are supported by local singer/songwriter Johnny Vans and St Hellfire.

Johnny Vans also starts ‘An evening with’ spot on Saturday May 24 in the Snug. Admission to this gig is free.

It will then be held on the first Friday of each month from June.

All singer songwriters are welcome to join in as well as an open mic spot.

So come along and support local talent.

This great music month finishes on Friday May 30 with an 80’s tribute act and disco.

There will also be a prize for best dressed person.
