The students from Fiona Bawn-Thompson’s dance school submitted an audition tape to Lidl Ireland, hoping for the chance to perform on the Main Stage during the Tall Ships festivities - and they were chosen as the winners.

“The dancers were overjoyed at this amazing opportunity,” said Fiona, company director at FADDstudios. “There was an overwhelming sense of achievement, and these young people will have memories to treasure forever. We didn’t see it as a competition, but as a display of talent - the acts we shared the stage with were hugely talented professionals from across Ireland!”

Lidl Ireland also awarded FADDstudios with £250 worth of vouchers, which will be used to hold a community day. For more info on FADDstudios and how to enrol, contact [email protected]
