An array of free ‘family fun’ entertainment activities have been planned for Catherine Street, Market Street, Linenhall Street, Newtone and Drumceatt Square.

Colourful Street Entertainers, Fire Eaters, Jugglers, Face painting, balloon Modelling will all be on offer as locals and visitors alike are shopping.

When you are visiting the town or calling into some of the coffee shops and restaurants you may even see the likes of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Buzz Light-year, Ups a Daisy or Sponge Bob Square Pants, so make sure you bring along your autograph book and have cameras at the ready!

Sure to create a relaxing atmosphere or get the toes tapping will be the Live Acoustic Music Sessions which will entertain people in a range of shops, restaurants and some other unique town centre locations.

The exquisite sounds of the world famous U2 band, Bono and `The Edge’ from the great Irish Band will be evident , late into the afternoon of Saturday, March 15 2014 when the local tribute act, U2/Elevation band will perform live at Drumceatt Square outside the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre.

As the action continues on St Patrick’s Day, Monday, March 17, 2014, the live music sessions be continuing and will include a performance by the splendid Irish Folk band, Blackthorn who will play during lunchtime at the Arts Centre.
