Brave YFC members Andreena McCurdy and Gemma McCullough will undertake the 13,000 skydive later this month at the Wild Geese centre.

The fundraiser is part of a province-wide initiative by the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster who have joined forces to support Fields of Life as their chosen charity this year.

Andreena admits that she isn’t sure whether she is afraid of heights and laughed: “I will soon find out!” Each skydiver has been tasked with raising £400 each.

“£18,000 has been raised by various members of Young Farmers’ Clubs and that’s not even half of the jumps done yet,” said Andreena.
