What do you like doing on your day off?

Watching rugby and catching up with friends

If you were to choose your favorite meal what would it be, where and why?

Anything, anywhere in India – the food there is just amazing!

What was the most frightening moment of your life?

Every time I step on the stage with Gillian McQuade in panto scares the life out of me!!

Apart from that I love skiing but my enthusiasm generally tends to outweigh my ability. Trying to get off a mountain in Livigno, Italy, a few years ago during a really heavy snowstorm in the fog, I really thought my number was up!!

How would you describe your taste in clothes?

I wear a shirt and tie at work so when I get home it’s shorts, hoodies and flip flops. When I venture out in public I’d say smart casual on a good day?!

What would you do if you won a million pounds?

Travel the world /make sure my family were comfortably off/ donate to charity

What music do you like?

Pretty much anything and everything – I’m a big Bon Jovi fan, but I listen to anything from rock to pop to musical theatre.

What sports person do you most admire?

Brian O’Driscoll – a fantastic player and to be able to play rugby at the highest level and for so long takes a lot of skill and dedication.

Describe your best ever holiday.

I got to travel this summer to India/Sri Lanka with a musical charity called Toccata. We toured and performed concerts to raise money for an orphanage in India and a children’s hospital in Sri Lanka.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?

To produce a show that is staged in Belfast’s Grand Opera House.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?

Peter Kay – the man makes me laugh so much.
