Meadhbh McGrail from St Brendan’s primary school and Aimee Prigent from St Teresa’s Primary School will share the part of Annie and will perform two shows each. Both girls came through five weeks of auditions to land the part of the popular orphan.

Meadhbh and Aimee both performed in The Wizard of Oz and Les Miserables School Edition, but this will be their biggest role to date. Both girls along with over 60 MADS members performed with Conleth Kane at the Lurgan Christmas ligths switch on.

A spokesperson said: “The guys performed brilliantly with Conleth and we were delighted that Conleth took the time to talk to both our Annies and give them words of advice and encouragement for their big role in January.”

Tickets priced at £6 go on sale from Print Business Supplies, Market Street, Lurgan, Greenes Nisa Local, Brownlow Shopping Centre and also from Moyraverty Centre, Craigavon every Saturday from 9am to 1.30pm.
