Annual ‘Mini Twelfth’ takes place this weekend

The annual ‘Mini Twelfth’ takes place in Lurgan on Friday (3rd), flooding the town centre with flute bands and the sound of drums.

The event, which has been organised by Lurgan District LOL No 6, begins at 7pm, when Dollingstown Star of the North Flute Band start their route from High Street car park.

Joining the band at 7:45pm outside Brownlow House, will be the Upper Bann Fusiliers Flute Band; Craigavon Protestant Boys Flute Band; Clogher Protestant Boys Flute Band; Drumderg Loyalists Flute Band; Portadown Defenders Flute Band; Portadown True Blues Flute Band; Blackskull Orange & Blue Flute Band; Maghaberry True Blues; and Quilly True Blues Flute Band.

The parade will finish up at Brownlow House.
