Are you up for the Team Front Page charity walk?

Staff and customers of ‘Team Front Page’ last year raised more than £7500 for Shimna Valley Holiday House, a facility for families nursing a child diagnosed with cancer, and have set themselves a £10,000 target from a sponsored walk on Sunday, October 23 for this year.

The 10km sponsored walk leaving and returning to the Bandstand at Broadway in Ballymena departs at 1pm sharp on that date.

And a few weeks ago Team Front Page issued an appeal for other places of work in the borough to help them make a difference for this year’s very worthy cause - NI Childrens’ Hospice.

Stephen from The Front Page on Ballymoney Street revealed that among those that have agreed their support so far are - Team Sitting Room, Team Braid Arts Theatre, Team Electoral Office, Team Classic Cuisine and Team Gwens Cafe Nobel.

He added: “The response has been magnificent, not least from staff and customers of the Front Page, and from a growing number of businesses and individuals around the town. We would love to see support from people right across the borough for what is a very good cause”.

Why not dig out your walking shoes and join them for a Sunday dander on October 23.

Each individual who achieves £100 sponsorship will receive a specially designed ‘Make A Difference’ Front Page t-shirt as a reward for their efforts.
