This year the Parish is privileged to have the services of local professional artist, Mrs Janice Lightowler, who will be in attendance between 11am and 1pm on Saturday to offer advice and constructive comment.

Also, alongside the main exhibition, there will be a number of working demonstrations and opportunities for the public to get involved as they choose their favourite exhibits.

Coordinator Colin McLoughlin emphasised the desire of the Parish to make the promotion of art and the artist’s skill an integral element of the event and to move it beyond an Exhibition & Sale to a “Festival of Art”

There will be some live music and light refreshment.

Funds raised from this event will go towards essential restoration works to the 19th Century Parish Church and to the “Fields of Life” charity.

The exhibition takes place in the Parish Hall, New Forge Road, and is open for a “Gala Evening” from 7pm to 9pm tonight (Thursday) then from 11am to 9pm on Friday and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday.
