Art inspired by a Saint

Two Londonderry artists have staged a joint exhibition in London Street Gallery as part of the celebration of the UK City of Culture.

Maurice Harron, a former pupil of St Columb’s College in the City, who now lives in Burt, just over the border into Donegal, and Brian Ferran, who was born in the City and trained as a teacher, staged ‘Voyages’ an exhibition of artworks inspired by St Columba or Colmbcille.

The exhibition closes this week, and Sentinel reporter Olga Bradshaw caught up with them for a quick chat at the end of the week.
