Articlave Flute band charity night for Uganda

ARTICLAVE Flute Band will be holding a charity fundraising event in aid of Compassion Driven Ministries (Uganda) on Friday 15th April in Bertha’s Bar in Castlerock.

One of the Band’s members, Adam Hayes, spent two weeks in Uganda in 2010 and was involved in dedicated charity work, helping to alleviate the poverty and woes of the people.

Adam will be returning to Uganda again on 14th May for three weeks, staying in the Kawempe region in Kampala and will be travelling of his own accord and paying for all his own travelling expenses.

All monies raised at the Charity Event will be directly spent on furthering these projects in this poverty stricken region.

Adam would like to thank all those who have already made generous donations and sponsored several prizes for the Charity Raffle and Auction to be held on the night. There will be a karaoke and disco by the ever popular and entertaining Davie Black. Everyone is invited to Bertha’s Bar on Friday 15th to enjoy a great night’s craic and entertainment and with loads of prizes to be won.
