Auditions for the Riverside Youth Theatre
YOUNG people between the ages of 8 and 20 years who fancy becoming a member of Ireland’s brightest and best youth group, The Riverside Youth Theatre, are reminded that auditions will be held in the Theatre on Saturday 1st September, between 10am and 1pm only.
Auditions are conducted by all four tutors and each candidate scores points awarded by the tutors. Each candidate is seen in the order in which they arrive.
Each youngster who wants to audition is asked to prepare, from memory, the following: one verse of their favourite song, unaccompanied plus a two-minutes’ extract from a poem or a play of their choice. The tutors may also ask candidates to move to a piece of music provided by them. All candidates will be informed of the outcome of their audition within one week.
