Echo Echo Company Manager, Ailbe Beirne, told the Sentinel that classes for kids have been popular through the summer, “The feedback we’ve received this year really shows the positive impact of taking part. Parents particularly have let us know how good Echo Echo classes were for building self-confidence among their children and we’ve received some genuinely amazing success stories. Numbers for kids classes always fill up quickly so we are advising parents to book in advance this term.

“Also for adults, dance and creativity are perfect ways to develop wellbeing and improve fitness in a really creative atmosphere. There are excellent new facilities at Echo Echo so it’s a great opportunity to join in the work we are doing here,” he added.

In addition to regular dance classes, Echo Echo hosts a growing range of dance and movement activities including Wing Tsjun with Karen Cassidy, Aikido with Aureli Osle, Baby Massage with Silvia Levi, Walled City Salsa, and Body Wisdom movement for over-50’s.

With the city set to participate in Culture Night next Friday, September 19 and inviting anyone in the city to have a look around its new building, “Echo Echo is joining in the Culture Night programme and we have a packed programme of events for CultureTech Festival that day and a special Echo Echo Ensemble performance in the evening – so we are encouraging anyone who hasn’t been yet to call in for a look.”
