Bagatelle all set for Kellys gig

IRISH super group Bagatelle will play Kellys this Thursday night.

The spotlight is most definatley on the ‘Port’ this week with the Irish Open, and to complement the entertainment on the course, Kellys will host this much loved band.

Brian Moore will act as host on the night. He’ll also take to the decks for what promises to be a night not to be missed.

He tells: “I’ll be featuring a lot of classics from the 80’s and 90’s in my set, which is when we first discovered Bagatelle in this part of the world.”

Of course Bagatelle have shared the stage with Van Morrison, Bob Marley, Thin Lizzy and the likes, and they are really looking forward to playing the North Coast.

The N.Y.P.D. paid the band a wonderful compliment by making “Streets of New York” their official theme tune. They even invited the band to a special function in New York to honour them for this.

But it’s not all about great songs, Bagatelle are great entertainers and their legion of fans travel the length and breadth of the country to enjoy their performances.

Already the golfing fraternity from south of the border have expressed their delight that whilst enjoying the Irish Open they can also enjoy a performance of a band held in the highest of esteem.

Doors open this Thursday at 9.00pm and no tickets are required – admission is £10 (payable at the door).
