Ballymoney features on ‘Irish TV’

The town of Ballymoney featured on a recent programme on Irish TV (Sky Channel 191) with the museum, Ullans Centre and Dunlop Memorial Gardens all given starring roles.

The recent ‘Antrim Matters’ episode arrived in Ballymoney and interviewed Keith Beattie at the museum, Bill Kennedy discussing the road racing heritage of Ballymoney and Alex Blair speaking about the historic former market house, now the Masonic Hall.

The cameras also spent an afternoon at the Ullans Centre, in Main Street, where Gary Blair, Anne Morrison-Smyth and Jordan Mogey provided a quick guide for the viewers on Ulster-Scots culture and language and Louise Morrow performed on the fiddle.

The series is also broadcast online, reaching up to one million regular viewers across the world.
