Ballymoney two night sale this week

McAfee Auctions have the first sale in their Ballymoney showrooms after the summer recess on Thursday and Friday, August 14-15.

.The two night sale of antiques and general furnishings will feature more than a thousand lots, the contents of several estates and private collections, and according to the auctioneers is a good varied sale of furniture, paintings, collectibles and silver.

A selection of jewellery includes 9ct and 18ct rings, brooches, earrings, and pendant and pocket watches.

More unusual lots include a marble topped radiator cover with ornate cast metal base a pair of earthenware spirit recanters andthree large carpet squares.

Viewing commences on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 12- 13 from 3-5pm and 7-8.30pm and on each day of the sale from 3.30pm.
