Balnamore has the fun factor!

DESPITE a summer of showers and inclement weather, Balnamore and District Community Association still managed to organise its annual fun evening recently where residents and visitors alike were able to showcase talents, sporting and otherwise.

This well established annual event took place at Fulton Park, with the support of Ballymoney Borough Council. People of all ages were entertained, fed and indeed participated in the many events and fun activities organised on the night with music and craic supplied in equal measure by Codie and Sterling from FUSEfm.

As with any community event, effort and enthusiasm only pay off if there are many volunteers and supporters on hand to ensure things run smoothly. Events like this make a community what it is and the massive voluntary effort shows Balnamore is a positive community with residents keen to assist in organising activities for everyone to enjoy. This is what living in a community is all about. Next year should be worth the wait.
