Bank robbery at Summer Theatre!

They will present Thomas Coffey’s “Anyone Could Rob a Bank” from July 28-31 in Portrush Town Hall nightly at 8pm.

The play is set in the 1960s in the back kitchen of a respectable Co Antrim shopkeeper, Peter "Badger" Grey.

Badger, his undertaker brother Jerry, and Windy, the butcher and next door neighbour, plan the perfect bank robbery.

Their plan is only hypothecial yet the following morning they discover that their plan has been successfully carried out. Which one, if any of them, did it?

The local Sergeant, who is courting Peter Grey's flirtatious daughter Noreen, suspects the Grey's mysterious lodger, Tony O'Shea.

Does Peter's absent-minded wife, Sarah, know anything about the robbery or was it all down to Mickey, Peter's boxing fanatic nephew with his killer punch?

This farce will guarantee you many laughs as the story twists and turns in the Grey's kitchen until finally the actual bank robber is apprehended... or are they all criminals at heart?
