Be creative with Echo Echo Dance this summer

The professional dance company’s summer scheme will run children’s classes for age groups of four to seven years and eight to 12 years, daily at their studio at Magazine Street. The Echo Echo dancers ensure that these classes are fun and vibrant, and will teach the children choreography as well as encourage their imaginations to improvise and create their own sequences. The children will work towards a short performance in Echo Echo’s theatre on the last day for family and friends.

Echo Echo will also be running a Youth Dance Summer Intensive for those aged 12 to 18 in the same week. These classes will offer a mixture of contemporary dance, hip-hop and physical theatre.

The summer schemes are open to boys and girls of all abilities and there is no need for any previous dance experience. They are ultimately creative classes about learning to move to music and making new friends.

Classes for four to seven years and eight to 12 years will run from 10.30am to 1pm daily, while classes for those aged 12 to 18 will take place from 2pm to 5pm.
