Belfast goes 'Gaga' for the Lady

LADY Gaga took Belfast by storm when she brought her Monster Ball Tour to the Odyssey Arena on Monday night.

Fans of the pop superstar were out in force for her only night in the city as part of her world tour. From lightning bolts painted on faces to people wrapped in lace la the lady herself, Lady Gaga thrilled local fans, who were in a party mood by the time she hit the stage.

Smart, stylish and amusing, Lady Gaga's show ticked all the boxes.

The Belfast crowd were rocking as Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, sang some of her biggest hits including Just Dance, Paparazzi, Poker Face and Bad Romance, as well as tracks such as Speechless, Telephone, Monster and Alejandro from her Fame Monster album.

The spectacular two hour show, which featured 15 costume changes, saw a variety of sets during the night as Lady Gaga and her friends tried to find their way along the 'Glitter Way' to get to the Monster Ball.

Part concert, part theatre show, Lady Gaga sang, danced and acted her way through the night proving what a real talent she is. She is personable and fun, but most importantly, she can really sing, displaying a fantastic vocal ability.

From broken down cars with a piano in the bonnet, to the car of a subway train and a piano on fire, this show had it all; there was even a giant sea monster!

A Lady Gaga concert is an experience to behold, and as the show ended with a rousing rendition of the number one hit Bad Romance, the Belfast crowd were begging for more.

A fantastic night, the Lady truly rocked the 'Haus'.
