Belsonic makes welcome return to Belfast venue

Belsonic returns to Belfast’s Custom House Square this month, delivering an eclectic range of world class musical acts.

A hugely successful Northern Irish music event, Belsonic has become renowned for bringing international talent to the heart of the city centre’s revitalised and historic Cathedral Quarter.

It runs for eight days throughout the month, beginning on August 16 and ending on August 24, with a different headliner for each night.

Kicking off the event on Friday, August 16, are dance act Basement Jaxx. They will prove a lively start to both the event and the weekend.

The following night will be headlined by BRIT award winner Ben Howard, a young singer-songwriter with folk roots.

The next gig will be four days later on August 21, with headliners Nine Inch Nails. Amazingly, this the first Northern Irish show of the rock icons career. That alone will make their show a
must see.

American folk group The Lumineers are the headliners of the next night, followed by Jake Bugg, who shot to the top of the UK album charts last year, and the headliner on Friday, August 23.
