Big Telly and Mill Strand perform ‘The Kitchen that Fell into the Sea’ at Dunluce Castle

Earl of Antrim, Randal MacDonnell was delighted to present his new wife Lady Katherine Manners to local dignitaries and to welcome everyone to their sensational castle, staffed by a team of wonderful servants.

Surely, nothing could spoil their magical evening, except of course the ever present threat of food poisoning, spies, invasions, and the structural integrity of their newly acquired property.

Directed by Zoë Seaton, the show was performed by Keith Singleton, Shelley Atkinson and Gemma Walker who were joined on the day by a fantastic team of volunteers, many of them past and present pupils and parents of Mill Strand.

Mill Strand Primary School donated the most important item for the show - the kitchen that fell into the sea.

The kitchen was hauled back over the cliff by the castle’s staff of servants. What a magical evening!
