Borough In Bloom garden winners are revealed

The latest category winners to emerge in Mid and East Antrim Council's In Bloom competition have been announced by the Mayor, Cllr Audrey Wales as follows:

Best Kept Front Garden; Winner: Robin & Florence Balmer, Cullybackey, runners-up, Louis Hamilton, Larne; Elizabeth Boyd, Cullybackey; and Maurice Langley, Carrickfergus.

Best Kept Front Container Garden Winner: Philomena Corey, Carrickfergus; runners-up, Patsy Abram, Glenarm; Arthur & Libby Page, Whitehead; and Annette Keith, Carrickfergus.

Winners and runners-up will be invited to the Mid and East Antrim In Bloom awards ceremony in October to receive their certificates and prizes.

Meanwhile, ‘In Bloom’ Children’s Painting and Poetry Competitions are still open until September 30.
