BuskFest is back

BANBRIDGE is beckoning talented buskers to register to take part in this year's busking festival being held on Saturday, June 19.

Entrants to BuskFest will be in with a chance of winning one of the six cash prizes up for grabs. Cash prizes will be awarded across six categories, including Overall Winner (1,000), Best Band (500), Best Individual (500), Best Junior (500), Best Street Performer (250) and Spirit of BuskFest (250). In addition to the cash prizes, buskers will also be able to collect money from members of the public throughout the afternoon.

Registration on the day of the event will start at the earlier time of 9.30am. Those that register online in advance will also be able to benefit from a fast pass, resulting in a more convenient registration process.
