Calling all local musicians

LOCAL musicians are being invited along to a monthly trad/folk night, which is held on the second Thursday of every month in St Patrick’s Parish Centre in Lisburn.

The cross community group meet to play from 8pm until late and the next night will be held on Thursday September 8.

All musicians are very welcome to go along and join in.

The group also runs banjo/mandolin classes on Wednesdays, with beginners at 7pm and intermediate level for all instruments at 8pm.

The aim of the group and the classes is to increase the repertoire of tunes and to lean to play in a group situation.
