Calling all Patchwork novices: get down to Flowerfield now!

IF YOU'VE ever thought about trying your hand at the delights of Patchwork, look no further than Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart, which is holding a one day workshop on 'Patchwork for Absolute Beginners' on Saturday February 6.

The fee for the workshop is only 25, and there are still some places available on the relaxed and friendly workshop, which starts at 10am and runs through til 4pm.

Learn how to cut using a rotary cutter and mat, how to sew using quarter inch seams and learn a few patchwork terms. Participants will make a lap quilt in the Rail Fence pattern.
