‘Castle Rocks’ as Horslips hit Dunluce

What do you get when you have an iconic setting, an iconic Celtic rock band and the longest day of the year - Solstice at Dunluce featuring Horslips at Dunluce Castle on 21st June!

Glenarm Castle, who has historic connections with Dunluce Castle, has once again teamed up with Coleraine Borough Council, Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) and Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) to stage this unique, intimate event.

Celtic Rock legends Horslips are regarded as the founding fathers of Celtic Rock. Best known for their albums The Táin, The Book Of Invasions and The Man Who Built America - the band intends to rock their exclusive, headline show at the iconic setting of Dunluce Castle on 21st June.

Dunluce Castle provides a very important chapter in the history of the McDonnells of Antrim and North East Ulster. Dunluce Castle still belongs to the McDonnell family, who also own Glenarm Castle in Co Antrim, however Dunluce Castle is currently managed by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency. The gig will take place at Magheracross car park, Dunluce, and will command spectacular views of the famous castle from a designated viewing point .

Special guest support acts includes; Bap Kennedy, Gareth Dunlop and Fretwear. Tickets for Solstice at Dunluce are available fromwww.ticketmaster.ie from Thursday 10th April at 9am. Ticket prices are £29.50 excluding booking fee.

A VIP ticket option is also available. Ticket holders for the concert will get into the castle at a discounted rate, on 21st June, on production of their concert ticket.
