Causeway CoastArts Collection

The Causeway Coast Arts Committee which consists of Council and arts committee representatives from Coleraine, Moyle, Limavady and Ballymoney borough Councils is launching a unique opportunity for visual artists in the area.

If you are a visual artist who currently lives and/or works or has spent considerable time either as a resident or practising artist in the above areas, your work could be purchased to be included in a new prestigious art collection which will tour venues and be part of the new arts programme of the Causeway Coast and Glens Council.

Speaking about the future collection the Chair of Causeway Coast Arts comments ‘The forthcoming amalgamation of the four councils from the 1st April 2015 marks an important moment. Causeway Coast Arts wishes to honour this with a special art collection which will reflect something of the diversity of visual artists associated with these areas. This is a unique opportunity for artists to gain increased profile in what will be a prestige collection.”

An initial application form with photographic evidence of the proposed work is required first, by Friday, January 16, 2015, 4pm. Selected artists will then be notified and works must be submitted by Friday, March 13.
