Celebrate Hogmanay at the Island

BRING in the New Year in traditional Scottish style with a special Hogmanay concert at the Island Hall on Saturday December 31.

Celebrate the start of a new year in the company of world renowned Scottish entertainers The Alexander Brothers with special guests, including yodelling farmer Kenny Archer, the gentleman of Country Crawford Bell, the rising star of country Trionagh Allen and the man of a thousand laughs Gary Wilson.

Ross Bowie became their Manager, an association that lasted 35 years. He introduced them to songwriter Tony Hatch who took them to London and recording fame. They had their own TV series for many years and appeared on the legendary ‘Sunday Night at the London Palladium’.
