Charity bear in memory of mum

Carol’s mother, Laura Johnston, passed away just before Christmas, and to keep her memory alive, Carol has designed a bear in her mother’s memory.

Last week Carol presented the hand made bear, called ‘Laura Bear’ to the Action Cancer shop at Railway Road in Coleraine.

“The bear will be raffled to raise money for Action Cancer,” explained Carol.

“Laura Bear has been made and designed in memory of my mother, she passed away in November from Cancer, so it’s our way of giving something back.”

If you would like to help raise funds for Action Cancer and be in with a chance of winning Carol’s special bear, call at the Action Cancer shop in Railway Road and purchase a raffle ticket.

Carol hopes to raise at least £1,000, so why not help her meet her target.
