Dickie Barr, father of the late Charlene, who founded the school building project in Uganda, said: “We’re delighted to be involved with this event taking place at the home of Lurgan Rugby and Cricket Club. The club also has links to Lurgan Hockey Club where our daughters enjoyed many happy years. The club share the same ethos as Charlene’s Project - bringing sport and education to young people.

“It’s fitting that’ll at the very time the concert is on we’ll be over delivering a sports programme to up to 500 primary school children.”

The line up at Summer Sound Parkfest on Saturday, June 28 features Elevation, The Bjorn Identity, The Illegals and Emma Horan.

Tickets are a bargain at only £10.
