The award-winning arts centre is poised to welcome a major Christmas Craft Fair and exhibition from Saturday November 15 through to Christmas, offering premium hand-made crafts for sale at affordable prices, from some of the most exciting craftmakers in Northern Ireland.

Among those taking part in the show (which opens officially on Saturday with a special launch event from 10am to 3pm) are Flowerfield craft artists in residence Adam Frew (ceramics), Catherine Keenan (glass) and Kirsty Emily Martin (jewellery), as well as Lorna Noble (ceramics), Natasha Duddy (glass), Lesley Frew (jewellery, cards etc) and Lauren Rankin (textiles).

Also taking part will be Jacki Sleator (textiles), Penny Ramalho (paintings), Robert Spotten (jewellery), Sue Mustchin (textile bags), Tom Agnew (ceramics), Helen Hancocks (textile hats and scarves), Helen Harty (glass), Catherine Quinn (shibori textiles, see below right)), Andrea McNeill (pictures), Malcolm Murchison (ceramics) and Sasha Mcvey (ceramics) - with more artists being confirmed all the time!

On Saturday there may even be some festive delicacies on offer to tickle the tastebuds as you sample the wares, thanks to participants on the Journey to Market programme.

The exhibition and shop continues right through to Christmas, so you can come down to Flowerfield any time and browse. Admission to the galleries is free, and the centre is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and from 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.

The centre may also be open late on certain evenings during the week to accommodate evening classes, so call the reception desk on (028) 7083 1400 for details of opening hours.
