Christmas lights switch ons

IT’S not even Halloween - but Coleraine Borough Council has released details of its Christmas lights switch ons.

The first switch on will be held in Coleraine towncentre on Friday, November 29 from 6pm when the mayor, councillor David Harding will be the special guest.

The switching on of the lights will be held at 7pm.

The other switch ons are as folows:

* Portstewart: Saturday, November 30, from 3.30pm, switch on, 4.30pm; Garvagh: Thursday, December 5, from 6.45pm, switch-on 7.30pm; Portrush: Friday, December 6, from 7pm, switch on 7.30pm; Kilrea: Saturday, December 7, from 4pm, switch-on 5pm; Castlerock: Thursday, December 12, from 7pm, switch-on 7.30pm.
