In addition to works by artists from many parts of the country, there will be working demonstrations of both oil painting and pottery. Visitors will be able to view the artist at work and there may even be opportunities to “have a go” on the potters wheel.

One special exhibit titled “Go on ye boy ye”, has been donated by local artist Alan Spence. This oil painting, measuring 50 x 40 inches shows the Irish rugby team in action against Scotland. The organisers plan to sell this work in a “silent auction” and believe it would be a worthy addition to many a sporting venue.
