Clann Eireann favour ‘Greased Lightning’

The Clann Eireann Drama Group are presenting one of the most popular shows ever at the end of the month when they stage an homage to the movie Grease and to the songs of the 50s and 60s.

This show is always a big hit and is regularly sold out.

It is due to take place on Saturday, March 29 in the Woodville Arms in Lake Street.

The show starts at 9.30pm and tickets are now on sale at a cost of £6.

There will be a raffle and a post show disco featuring the music of the 50s and 60s.

Tickets are on sale at the Woodville Arms and all money raised will go to the Clann Eireann Drama Group.

Saturday, March 29 in the Woodville Arms will be an evening of song, dance and a walk down memory lane.

An excellent cast of experienced performers and stars of the future will be performing all the well known songs from Grease and a few well chosen additions from the music of that time.

The choreography has been arranged by Susan Mc Peake, with the stand out numbers being Hand Jive and Greased Lightening.

The talented cast have been rehearsing since January to provide a polished evening’s entertainment.

Secure your ticket as soon as possible as they are limited in number.

So brush off your Blue Suede shoes, sort out those side burns, run an iron over your drindl skirt and get on down to the Woodville Arms on Saturday, March 29.
