Cloughmills Cultural Festival has something for all

Organised by Cloughmills Community Action Team the programme includes fun runs for adults and kids, circus skills workshops, barbeque, countryside walk and a special production by primary school children of 'Get A Job - the Hiring Fair', focusing on the experience of local people at the hiring fair. The Festival concludes on Saturday 12th June with the 2nd Annual June Fair - a family fun day with a range of games, craft stalls, music and food for everyone.

Patrick Frew, Chairman of the Cloughmills Community Action Team said, "The June Fair was so popular last year that we have been inundated with requests to repeat it. We also decided to add a number of events in the week leading up to the Fair as part of a Cultural Festival. We are delighted to be able to confirm that the Cultural Festival will run from Monday 7th June and culminate in the June Fair on Saturday 12th June.

The June Fair will feature activities suitable for all ages, kids can enjoy themselves on the inflatable mega slide and bouncy castles, mum and dad can try out the tastes of the world or browse the craft stalls, granny and granddad can watch the cultural dances and music and kids of all ages can try their hand at our very own Bush Tucker Trials! The Fair is a great day out for all the family and a great opportunity for people to come and visit Cloughmills.
