Come dancing at Eire Og

EIRE Og will be holding a Strictly Dancing event next Sunday night as part of a weekend long community festival.

Many of the dancers from Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society’s production of Footloose: The Dance Musical have been paired of with non dancers to appear at the event which takes place on Sunday, September 25 at 7.30pm.

MADS Chairman and Eire Og member Kieran Corr is taking part in the Boxing Fight Night while the MADS members who will take part in the dance night include Caroline Henry, Jayne McCrory, Helen McCrory, Jenny Abraham, Catherine McGeown, Tammy Sharpe, Daniel May and Seanny Roberts.

The Eire Og Community festival opens on Friday, September 23 with the top Irish group ‘The Fureys’ taking centre stage. The start time for this event is 8.30pm.

On Saturday, September 24 there will be a fight night featuring various members of Eire Og competing against members from other clubs. On Sunday, September 25 will be the Strictly Dancing night. There will also be an Irish Dancing competition and a junior disco.
