Conleth to make his debut in West End
The Lurgan man will play Jake in ‘Molly Wobbly’s T*t Factory’ which begins its run at the Hackney Empire in September.
Before that, he is off to Edinburgh to play the role of Wayne in a new play, ‘Get Got’, opposite Angela Lonsdale, formerly of Coronation Street.

Hide AdAt Christmas, he will star in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ at the Birmingham Hippodrome with Gok Wan, John Partridge and Stephanie Beacham.
Conleth caught the acting bug when he joined the Junior Phoenix Players in Portadown under the direction of Angela and Dennis McKeever.
He said: “I know they have their annual production coming up this summer, and I see this year they are doing ‘Grease’. It was actually in the summer of 1996, I was given my first ever role, and it was Johnny Casino in ‘Grease’ with the Jr Phoenix Players at the Portadown Hall.
“I would like to credit this cross-community theatre group for the ongoing work they do year after year.

Since leaving drama school in London, Conleth has toured with West End musicals, was student doctor ‘Paul Bridges’ in BBC One’s ‘Casualty’ in 2009, and was Dandini’ in ‘Cinderella’ at the Grand Opera House in Belfast last Christmas.
