Country & Western concert at Burnside

A COUNTRY & Western Music Concert is being held in Burnside Orange Hall, Loughanmore Road, Antrim, on Friday, June 3 at 7.45pm.

Stars appearing will include Curtis Magee, Natasha Magee and Boxcar Brian.

Doors will be open from 7.30pm and the cost of admission is £10.

The concert is being held to raise funds for the hall and is just one of a series of planned events to encourage people from the local community, and further afield, to come along and enjoy the family atmosphere at Burnside.

Curtis Magee hails from Strabane but now lives in Coleraine. He is recognised as one of the leading entertainers in Northern Ireland today and his easy listening style covers many areas of popular music from Van Morrison to Daniel O’Donnell.

Also appearing with Curtis is his daughter Natasha who is following in her father’s footsteps and has just released a new album “All That Glitters”.

Boxcar Brian has become a legend in country music with a variety of songs which were sung by Boxcar Willie and he attracts large audiences all over the country.

Organisers hope to see the hall filled to capacity for what will be a very good evening of first-class entertainment.
