Curtis Magee Fanfayre rolls into town again

THE SEVENTH Curtis Magee Fanfayre takes place once again in The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine, from Sunday June 17th to Wednesday June 20th.

Following on from the success of the past six years, this successful event will once again see fans, friends and followers of this likeable singer and top entertainer descend into the town of Coleraine from all over the UK and Ireland.

Curtis says that people continue to return each year to this now annual event, having had such a great time at the previous Fanfayres.

Curtis continued: “Apart from the all the music and entertainment that goes on each night, we arrange coach trips out during the day to all the local beauty spots and tourist attractions, such as the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, and trips around the North Antrim Coast and even across to Donegal for the day.

“Every night there will be music and dancing in The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine from 9pm till 1am.”

Joining Curtis on stage is a host of fellow stars from the musical world of entertainment

On Sunday, June 17th Curtis will be joined on stage by the multi talented Johnny Fingers McHugh, plus special guests, Boxcar Brian and Barry Doyle better known as Farmer Dan with resident compere and comedian Gary Wilson from County Fermanagh.

Monday, June 18th sees an array of stars join Curtis. From BBC Radio Ulster comes the ‘Wee Man from Strabane’ Hugo Duncan, also Country Harmony, Country Star Joe Moore, Johnny Fingers McHugh and compere Gary Wilson.

On Tuesday, June 19th Curtis welcomes to the stage the new star of country music, Jason McGilligan, who is presently making a big name for himself on the circuit, here in Ireland. Also on stage will be the very popular husband and wife duo Thomas McGuire and Fhiona Ennis plus the brilliant Country Harmony, Johnny Fingers McHugh and comedian Gary Wilson.

Wednesday, June 20th is farewell party night, and sees the Fanfayre end with Curtis on stage with his two singing daughters Natasha and Shannon. Also on stage making their first visit to Coleraine are Limelight along with the very talented Johnny Fingers McHugh. Keeping this brilliant show running to time will again be Ireland’s King of Laughter, Gary Wilson.

All nights are open to the public, and admission is payable at the door priced £10. There is a special four-day ticket priced £25 available from the Lodge Hotel reception. Doors open at 8.30pm, and dancing is from 9pm till 1am each night. So for a great night out of super music, dance and craic you’ll never forget, get yourself along to the ‘Curtis Magee Fanfayre 2012’
