FROM April 6 to 10 Eglish Theatre Company (ETC) returns to The Market Place Theatre, Armagh with ‘Boogie Nights’.

It tells the hilarious and heart-warming story of Roddy, a Jack-the-lad, whose life of birds, booze and boogie is about to be turned upside down.

Playing the lead role of Roddy is Daniel May from Craigavon. Daniel has been performing now for over 12 years, he studied Drama, Dance and Acting in BIFHE until 2004. He is an active member of a number of local drama societies. His first directing adventure was Aladdin Junior for MADS Movraverty Arts & Drama Society) which was hugely successful, from this he went on to direct again, this time for ‘The Little Mermaid’ which ran only a few weeks ago.

Daniel’s biggest achievement to date was being in the final 25 out of over 20,000 on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC1 search for Joseph ‘Any Dream Will Do’.

‘Boogie Nights’ will have audiences grooving in the aisles with classic chart-toppers such as ‘Celebration’, ‘You Sexy Thing’, ‘YMCA’, ‘Play That Funky Music White Boy’, ‘I Will Survive’ and ‘Boogie Wonderland’.
