THE subject chosen for October’s meeting of Derriaghy WI was “Beauty & Make-up’.
Chloe and Jill, beauticians from Boots, Sprucefield, gave two members a ‘make over’ with tips and advice from Estee Lauders service menu. The competition for a powder compact was won by Deirdre Irwin, with Pearl Vance and Nancy Scott in second and third place. The birthday girl was Marian McClune. The next meeting will be on 2nd November at 7.30pm when the talk will be on ‘Aspects of Local History’.
