Development of old forestry school in Pomeroy

The old forestry school in Pomeroy could soon be re-developed to benefit the community.

Everyone in the area is invited to come along to the Rowan Tree Centre in Pomeroy on Friday (May 30) to discuss possible suggestions for use.

It is hoped that future users will be keen to have their say about potential ideas that the old forestry school could provide for the community and further afield.

The centre is open between 2pm and 7pm and everyone is welcome to come along and express an opinion.

The building currently consists of a meeting/reception room, large hall, kitchen/dining facilities, workshop, drying area, toilet facilities and an accommodation block, with office space.

There will be pictures of these available at the event to give people a better idea of space and layout.
